I'm a native North Carolinian, engineer, and guitarist. I like working on complex technical problems and playing enjoyable music for people. For nearly twenty years, I've performed jazz, French-style swing (jazz manouche), and other types of improvisation-focused music. I've played in all kinds of contexts and venues across the southeast, including wedding ceremonies, corporate parties, country clubs, music festivals, wineries, dive bars, and more. I lead The Hot Club of Raleigh and my own jazz combos, perform solo guitar in a variety of styles, play noisily/loudly with Gio Mesto, and regularly play with other bands in and around the Triangle and Triad areas.
